Medicare Supplement insurance can help cover some of the costs Original Medicare leaves behind, giving you more predictable expenses and peace of mind. These plans can be especially helpful for people who want predictable healthcare expenses and the freedom to see any provider nationwide who accepts Medicare.
Medicare Advantage plans combine your Medicare benefits into one plan and may include additional coverage for things like prescriptions, dental, vision and hearing. They may be a good fit for people who prefer the convenience of bundled coverage, lower monthly premiums and are comfortable receiving care within a plan’s provider network.
ACA health insurance offers comprehensive coverage for individuals and families who do not have access to affordable insurance through an employer or another program. Depending on your household income, you may qualify for financial assistance that can lower your monthly premium, making coverage more affordable.

Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance): Part A covers inpatient hospital stays, care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice care, and some home health care.
Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance): Part B covers certain doctors' services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventive services.
Medicare Part C (Medicare Advantage): The Medicare Advantage program is also called Medicare Part C.
Medicare Part D (prescription drug coverage): Helps cover the cost of prescription drugs (including many recommended shots or vaccines).
Medicare Supplement insurance plans help pay your share of some of the healthcare costs that Original Medicare doesn't cover, like copayments, coinsurance and deductibles. Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement are different types of Medicare coverage. You cannot have both at the same time. Medicare Advantage bundles Part A and B, often with Part D and other types of coverage. Medicare Supplement is additional coverage you can buy only if you have Original Medicare Part A and B.
Not all plans are built the same, and premiums vary
Medicare Supplement Insurance is sometimes also called Medigap because it helps fill the gaps in coverage and provides additional benefits such as dental and vision care.
With a variety of plans available, you can customize your coverage to meet your specific needs and budget.

We know enrolling in Medicare can be a complicated and daunting process, but it doesn't have to be. Let us help you understand your options and choose the right one for you.
Original Medicare includes Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance). You pay for services as you get them. When you get services, you’ll pay a deductible at the start of each year, and you usually pay 20% of the cost of the Medicare-approved service, called coinsurance. If you want drug coverage, you can add a separate drug plan (Part D). Original Medicare pays for much, but not all, of the cost for covered health care services and supplies. A Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) policy can help pay some of the remaining health care costs, like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. Some Medigap policies also cover services that Original Medicare doesn't cover, like emergency medical care when you travel outside the U.S.
Medicare Advantage is a Medicare-approved plan from a private company that offers an alternative to Original Medicare for your health and drug coverage. These “bundled” plans include Part A, Part B, and usually Part D. Plans may offer some extra benefits that Original Medicare doesn’t cover - like vision, hearing, and dental services. Medicare Advantage Plans have yearly contracts with Medicare and must follow Medicare’s coverage rules. The plan must notify you about any changes before the start of the next enrollment year.
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) Health Insurance Marketplace offers coverage options for individuals and families who do not have access to employer-sponsored insurance. Plans vary in monthly premiums, deductibles, and provider networks, and you may qualify for savings based on your income and household size.
